Change or cancel your tickets at least 24 hours before your scheduled departure time by using the “Change Booking” or “Cancel Booking” links provided in your ticket confirmation email. Tickets canceled by the passenger at least 24 hours in advance or by the LSMR for weather or other circumstances will be issued a full refund. No refunds are given for unused tickets.

1 hour and 50 minutes to 2 hours.  We travel about 6 miles and return on the same route.

Please arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time to check-in and receive a boarding pass. 

We boarding about 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time. 

Maybe. Tours of the locomotive may be available. Please ask the Conductor. 

Our antique coaches are not wheelchair accessible. There are three large steps to get onto the train for those who are mobile and able to climb the steps. Our volunteers may be able to assist you.

No, pets, comfort, or emotional support animals are not allowed on the train. Certified service dogs may ride the train with the permission of the Conductor. Misrepresenting a pet or comfort or emotional support animal as a service animal is against the law (per Chapter 409 Minnesota Statutes 609.833). 

Yes. However, help keep our antique passenger coaches clean by using the garbage and recycling containers. Report spills to the car host. Water, soda, and snacks are sold on the train. 

No alcoholic beverages are allowed on board. No smoking, vaping, or using tobacco products is allowed on board. 

Yes. There is a chemical toilet in each coach. There is no running water on board. Hand sanitizer and wipes are provided.

No. There is no heat or air-conditioning on board. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
