Experience Duluth as it was in the 1800s. Our narrated tour takes you along the original Lake Superior & Mississippi line in vintage coaches. Perfect for history enthusiasts and families, you’ll hear the stories of the “Missing Link” while enjoying a relaxing, 2-hour round trip.
Go where cars and hiking boots can’t reach. The St. Louis River Estuary is a hidden sanctuary for bald eagles, osprey, and Northland wildlife. Bring your camera for unparalleled views of the river’s ecosystem and the stunning greenery of the Duluth riverfront.
Why just ride when you can explore? Use our Choo-Choo Paddle Kayak Shuttle to drop into the National Water Trail, or hop off to hike and bike the scenic Marten Trail. It’s the ultimate way for outdoor lovers to experience the river by land and water.

Departure Times: Saturdays & Sundays at 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM.
Duration: A scenic 2-hour round trip through the estuary.
Boarding: Please arrive 20–30 minutes early for check-in.
Amenities: Snacks and refreshments available onboard (Cash Only). Restrooms are available on the train.
Accessibility: Due to their historic nature, our vintage coaches are not currently wheelchair accessible.
